I think Terrence Mann should play Aziraphale (and David Tennant - Crowley) in Good Omens, were it ever (finally) made into a film. Bob, the way he was in the tv series, definitely had something Aziraphalic about him. I mean, look at this photo --

bob

Doesn't it scream 'Aziraphale!' to you? And I'm not talking only about the clothes. xP

Also, there've been a lot of black crows in my garden lately. I am aware that they come for the walnuts (we've got three walnut trees in our garden), but who said I can't enjoy the 'Birds of a Feather' associations my brain comes up with? ;P
And, y'know, I've been sorted into Ravenclaw, so maybe they don't come just for the walnuts, after all. :PP

I can definitely see the resemblance, yes. The pale hair really helps.

*goes off into happy musings about David Tennant as Crowley*

The looks is one thing, but there are also aspects of his personality, and, I don't know, things like gestures and body language in general that really make me think of Aziraphale. ^^

:D Do you remember him in Harry Potter? In black leather That's when the thought of him as Crowley first occurred to me. I have no idea why ^^

He sounds pretty cool then!

No, I can't imagine why ^^ I still automatically think of the Doctor when I think of David Tennant, but when I recall Barty Crouch I can definitely see where you're coming from. And he's bony enough to look snaky, too ^^

Ah.. I should really read those books, dammit. I've had Gaiman on my to-read list for years and years and I've never got around to it. The only thing I've (thus far!) read from him was this Sherlock Holmes AU short story and it was completely wonderful. So, thanks for the reminder, I should try to get my hands on them soon. :) At least as soon as Dresden book!Harry stops distracting me.. ;)

But hell, it would be one severe fandom collision to see Terry Mann and Tennant in a same film. Haha. Also, it would certainly be interesting to see how they might play together, personality-wise, considering how well Blackthorne seemed to do with Mann. I rather think Tennant was at his best with Catherine Tate in DW. But what a pretty scenario anyway. ^_^

(BTW now that you said this I don't think I'll be able to read Omens with out thinking of someone Bob-like..)

Oh, one should know Gaiman, definitely. ;) As well as Pratchett (the other author of GO), btw - unless you know him already, that is. I don't think you do, though. You'd probably have him in your interests if you read any of his books. xD One can't read Terry Pratchett and not like him. ;p
